Ilan Taché is a professional photographer from Antwerp, Belgium. After graduating in 2008, Ilan moved to London to study Photojournalism at the renowned University of the Arts London. Upon completing his degree, Ilan moved back to Antwerp to further develop his education and to start his career. He attended the Foundry Photojournalism Workshop in Sarajevo in 2013 and visited Visa pour l’image, the famous International Festival of Photojournalism in Perpignan, France.

After thorough consideration, Ilan decided to move into a different field of photography and founded Ilan Taché Photography in 2014. ITP is specialised in high quality imaging of rough and polished diamonds and jewellery. Ilan regularly follows one specific stone through all its stages of the manufacturing process to capture the evolution of the diamond.

What sets Ilan Taché apart is that he has a thorough knowledge and understanding of these precious stones as he was able to build on years of experience of his family’s business, allowing him to perfectly comprehend the needs and requirements of his clients. Diamond and jewellery photography requires an almost scientific approach with great knowledge of lighting. As these beautiful subjects are sometimes challenging to capture, the final result is most definitely always nothing less than spectacular.
